Hello new user, and welcome to the BattleYourTailOff.com forums!

At BYTO, we take pride in the quality and knowledge of our posters. And we understand the need for new users to maintain the quality of Twins discussion and insight. We'd like to thank you for joining our community and we look forward to talking baseball and all sorts of other topics with you.

Although the admininstrators, moderators, and regular posters may seem a bit surly and hard to understand at first, they are all loveable curmudgeons at heart.

Here at BYTO, we try to adopt as much of a laissez-faire attitude as possible. This means that we have no language filter and few hard-and-fast forum rules. Each user has free will to edit and delete their own posts.

Thanks for joining us at BattleYourTailOff.com, and welcome to the forums. We hope you visit often and become a regular poster, and we look forward to talking baseball with you.

Hello.

22/m/mn, single, enjoy long romantic walks on the superior hiking trail.

Grew up in north Minneapolis (right off Brodway and Penn), although I went to highschool @ Arlington in St. Paul... what a mistake that was, technology my ass, worst school in the state. I was pulled in by this really cute older girl when I was searching for a school, turns out she didn't even go to the school and was only there to make it seem like attractive white people went there.

Anyway, love baseball and hockey. Like most other sports, but none so much as those two.

i love when someone else is batting and they dont announce what happened to the guy before....also i love when herb carneal falls asleep and forgets almost an entire inning

i have no problem with gordo, but the dazzle man rankles. also, anyone referring th that methhead as the "dazzle man" is a complete and utter moron. dazzle man.

Been a fan since the early 70's. Still favor Rod Carew as the greatest Twins player ever. But Puckett, Killebrew are right on his heels.

I was a very sad youngster when Lyman Bostock became an Angel. Litterally, as well as figureatively.

I can handle a Fidel avaitor for a short time. Just as long as I'm not given a George Bushie avaitor. IMO, that'd be hitting below the belt.

I also read daily, but only chime in when I feel it necessary- or when somebody makes some asinine hawkidorkesque comment. Really.... Somebody needs to interview that guy.....for real. Also living in Seattle and reaqd the posts late at night when most back and forth is kinda over for the day.

Hey there...new poster here too. Very impressed so far with what I see here on the forums. Seems like some good discussion with some knowledgeable fans. Looking forward to joining the discussion.

I rely heavily on the "Intraweb" for my Twins coverage as I've lived overseas for 12 years now and outside Minnesota for 19 years...although I do make it back every so often.

I've thrown a link up for you guys on my own site in hopes of luring some more diehards this way.

Grew up listening to my Dad tell me about Killebrew, Allison, Perry and Kaat. Saw my first Twins game while on vacation to Minnesota in 1979. I watched guys like Ron "Pappa" Jackson, Bombo Rivera and "Disco" Danny Ford. They all played second fiddle to a veteran named Rodney Cline Carew! Followed the team through the '87 and '91 chapionships and while there was no denying Kirby was the man....Kent Hrbek has been and always will be my favorite Twin. Nothing like a home town kid turned hero!

Now I worship from afar, but with the help of MLB audio, a million Twins bloggers and forums like this, I manage to keep up with the Jones'.

Now that my BYTO virginity has been taken, time to jet off and see where else I can contribute.

I live with a bunch of Brewers fans...they get pissed at me bitching during the Twins games...haha
